I still think that someone is just going to knock on my door and solve all my problems or the problem of the day. Weather they are stopping by to give me millions of dollars, offer me the best job ever, or the intelligence and wisdom of a man that has lived a full life. What I have learned and know is that people succeed and people accomplish by action. They work and desire. Nothing great has happen to anyone who sits on the couch all day long.
This also works with people. I know I assume peoples' thoughts and perceptions all the time. I miss out on lots of opportunities because of that. I must take action, I must go to them!
